By Kevin Price For GCS Athletics Players from both Brunswick High and Glynn Academy were recently named to the All-Region team for Region 2-AAAAAA. Named to the first-team from the Lady Terrors was senior catcher Bella Theus. Several Glynn players were placed on the second-team including first baseman Madysen Wilburn, second baseman Katie Wagner, outfielder Mikel Thomas and shortstop-pitcher Gigi Smiley. From Brunswick, senior catcher Ridleigh Rowell was chosen for the first-team. Lady Pirates making the second-team were outfielder Makayla Ponsell, first baseman Annna Kate Owens, pitcher Mac Rauscher, shortstop Emmie Chance and third baseman Kylie Craig.
