GAME PREVIEW
The Red Terrors will be playing their second Thursday night game of the season as they get set to take the field on the first night of the inaugural Border Classic at Glynn County Stadium.
Two weeks ago, the Terrors defeated McIntosh County Academy 22-12 between the bricks on a Thursday night in their second game of the young season. Last Friday, Glynn dropped its first game of the year at Camden County.
This will be the final non-region game for the Terrors who will be off next week before kicking off their Region 2-AAAAAA schedule with the annual City Championship game on Sept. 23 against Brunswick.
The Terrors didn’t score last Friday until the final minutes when Hank Noonan broke off a long run for a touchdown.
Glynn turned over the ball twice in the first half which led to 10 points by the Wildcats who returned an interception for a touchdown and a 17-0 lead in the final moments before halftime.
The GA defense allowed 322 rushing yards to the Wildcats who averaged 8.1 yards per carry.
Creekside has outscored its first two opponents by a combined 111-41 margin. The Knights won their opener 49-0 over Viera and rolled past Nease 62-41 last week. Those two teams are a combined 0-4 on the season.
